Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma

Vayalar Sarathchandravarma is a noted Malayalam film lyricist. His lyrics have proved that he has inherited his father, Vayalar Ramavarma's‎ gift of poetry. He is a youthful entertainer by penning soothe romantic songs. All his recent contribution has got a large amount attention among Malayalam songs lovers. He has been the busiest person last couple of years continuously churning out hits along with Alex Paul.

He was born in the village of Vayalar, Cherthala, in Aalappuzha district and he is married to Sreelatha and has one daughter Subhadra (11-year-old).

Sarath studied predegree at St. Xavier's College, Thumba, Trivandrum in 1975-77.
